We are seeking a skilled Email Template Developer to join our Retention Team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and code responsive email templates – ensure proper display of emails in various email clients, including dark mode (Gmail, Yahoo, Apple Mail, etc.) and browsers.
  • Optimize code for fast loading – minimize HTML and CSS code, and use compressed images to speed up email loading times.
  • Integrate tracking pixels and UTM – implement tracking tags and links to analyze the performance of email campaigns (opens, clicks, etc.).
  • Test email templates – conduct A/B testing and verify correct rendering using tools like Litmus, Email on Acid, and others.
  • Apply email marketing best practices – create emails based on modern email marketing trends and legal requirements (GDPR, CAN-SPAM).
  • Maintain and update existing email templates – regularly update content and design to align with marketing campaigns.
  • Create personalized and dynamic emails – work with variables to create personalized messages based on user data.
  • Collaborate with designers and marketers – work closely with the team to create visually appealing and effective emails.
  • Incorporate feedback and revisions – quickly respond to feedback and make changes to the design and code as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in designing and developing responsive email templates.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and email-specific coding best practices.
  • Familiarity with popular email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, SendGrid, HubSpot).
  • Strong understanding of email deliverability, performance optimization, and accessibility.
  • Experience with email client testing and troubleshooting (e.g., Litmus, Email on Acid).
  • Basic understanding of graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Figma) to collaborate with designers.
  • Attention to detail and a keen eye for layout, typography, and design consistency.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript or other front-end frameworks is a plus.
