Responsibilities

Execution & Delivery:

  • Own delivery of ML features end-to-end;
  • Build and scale repeatable processes to execute on the ML business plan across all relevant areas;
  • Introduce clear planning to align expectations and drive outcomes;
  • Ensure the team consistently delivers on time and maintains high quality;
  • Define and maintain success metrics relevant for ML team performance and business outcomes.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

  • Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Business) to understand goals and translate them into ML opportunities;
  • Collaborate directly with Product Managers, CTO, CPO, and CEO to align on strategic priorities;
  • Create and manage a structured intake and evaluation process for ML initiatives, ensuring clarity and measurable impact.

Team Management:

  • Act as a hands-on people manager: set clear expectations, drive accountability, and give regular feedback;
  • Lead team structure planning, hiring, and onboarding in alignment with business and delivery needs;
  • Participate in team structure and headcount planning based on delivery roadmap and long-term business needs;
  • Assess team strengths and gaps; realign responsibilities or reskill where needed to improve execution.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of delivering ML features into production with measurable business impact;
  • Strong execution mindset: delivers results quickly, iterates fast, and learns from data;
  • 2+ years of experience managing ML or data teams, including hiring and performance management;
  • Strong collaboration and project management skills across technical and business functions.
