We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Procurement Manager to build and lead our procurement function from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to shape the procurement strategy, define processes, select tools, and drive cost efficiencies across the organization. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams including finance, legal, operations, and business unit leads to build a scalable procurement infrastructure that supports our growth. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing procurement activities across various categories and delivering measurable value to the organization. You must be comfortable working in an environment of ambiguity, rapid change, uncertainty of process, and highly variable projects across numerous diverse categories.

Responsibilities

Procurement Function Setup

  • Design and implement the full procurement framework, policies, and processes to ensure compliance and operational efficiency;
  • Help to develop and implement category-specific procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Select and implement procurement platforms and tools;
  • Establish purchase request, approval, and vendor onboarding workflows.

Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management

  • Build and maintain central supplier database and strong relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality service and optimal pricing;
  • In conjunction with business stakeholders, evaluate supplier performance and take a leading role in supplier development initiatives across spend categories within your remit;
  • Oversee the sourcing and onboarding of new suppliers as needed.

Category Management

  • Manage procurement activities across various categories, including but not limited to Facilities Management, PR and Events, Travel, HR, and Technology;
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and provide procurement expertise to meet objectives.

Cost Optimization and Reporting

  • Analyze procurement data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement;
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate contracts to maximize value for the organization;
  • Provide regular reports to Procurement leadership on procurement performance and cost savings achieved.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with various departments, which may include Finance, Operations, HR, and IT, to support their procurement needs;
  • Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects requiring procurement input.

Requirements

  • Ideally a minimum of 5+ years of experience in procurement or a related commercial field. Your ability to think strategically and commercially is, however, more important than your direct experience within procurement as a discipline.
  • Ideally, demonstrated success in managing end-to-end procurement processes.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Solid understanding of procurement best practices, including RFx management, supplier selection, key commercial aspects of contracting, and spend analysis.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a very fast-paced, dynamic environment and comfort with uncertainty, ambiguity and making decisions with incomplete or imperfect information.
  • Knowledge of legal and compliance considerations related to procurement.

Conditions

We know that great talent deserves great conditions, so here's what you can expect when joining us:

  • EU-based employment contract and a 3-year Cyprus work visa with full support for your relocation and visa processes, including assistance for your family.
  • Transparent performance reviews twice a year, with bonus opportunities and salary adjustments.
