Tech stack: OpenStack, Ansible, Python, Prometheus, Terraform, Grafana, Gitlab


Work format: office, relocation to Cyprus, Limassol. (300 days of the sun on the island, Mediterranean coast, international job environment, and strong team).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and support the IaaS(cloud) team as a Lead;
  • Deliver adequate monitoring and failsafe solutions(HA, DRP) for OpenStack cloud;
  • Support and scale company:
  • Internal Open Source cloud solution.
  • Our cloud - OpenStack (over 400 hosts in 8 installations Yoga).
  • Ironic with Dell iDRAC9.
  • VM on local storage without FC/iSCSI;
  • Team load Management;
  • Plans, organizes and implements strategies to achieve goals;
  • Solves problems and operational issues;
  • Technical interviews and close communication with the recruitment team;
  • Addresses challenges and operational issues.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of people management experience as a team lead or manager;
  • Proven track record of building efficient teams, including hiring, performance management, and development;
  • Broad technical outlook and deep understanding of modern software development and high-load projects;
  • A mastery of Linux. Know why things work on a Linux system -- not just how to configure them.
  • Experience with large-scale deployments involving private and/or hybrid platforms.
  • Hands-on experience deploying Linux Containers in production with any container scheduling technology.
  • Expert knowledge of OpenStack in the area of architecture and interaction of platform components: nova, neutron, ironic, placement, swift, glance, keystone and etc.;
  • Expert understanding of the ability to implement Infrastructure as Code principles: terraform, ansible, full-fledged CI with linters and test runs, etc.
