We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Treasury Officer to oversee and execute critical treasury functions, including vendor and partner payouts, bank movement monitoring, and financial record-keeping.


The ideal candidate will ensure smooth treasury operations while also supporting financial decision-making through data analysis and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.


This role provides room for growth, and depending on experience and upon agreement between both parties, the successful candidate may also take on additional responsibilities in banking relationship management, risk assessment and process automation.

Responsibilities

  • Execute timely and accurate payouts to vendors and partners;
  • Oversee and execute processor fund withdrawals in compliance with internal policies;
  • Conduct thorough reconciliation of bank fees, identifying discrepancies and liaising with financial institutions to resolve issues;
  • Track and review bank transactions to ensure accurate cash flow visibility;
  • Update and maintain treasury records, including bank balances and card registers;
  • Handle inquiries from internal teams, investigate payment delays, liaise with banks, and resolve transaction issues;
  • Analyze bank fees and charges to identify cost-saving opportunities;
  • Prepare Daily Cash Position Reports and other management reports as directed;
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of Cash Flow report;
  • Assist in implementing process improvements and treasury processes enhancements;
  • Support treasury projects such as automation of payment processes and system improvements;
  • Engage in financial strategy discussions.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Treasury or Banking;
  • Strong understanding of payment processing, banking operations, and cash flow management;
  • Skills in financial processes and accounting - knowledge of Microsoft Business Central accounting system will be considered an advantage;
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets. Knowledge of Power Query or VBA is a plus;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with internal teams;
  • High attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines;
  • Proficiency in Greek and English.
