Mayflower is a technology company that alters the entertainment industry to a new level of perception and engagement.


We are building an event-based Data Warehouse (DWH) with streaming integration, which helps us to understand our user experience and create effective machine learning solutions.


We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer (DWH) to join our dynamic team team.

Responsibilities

  • Build DWH, expanding and optimizing our data and data pipeline architecture;
  • Working on the in-house data platform for collecting, storing and transforming data;
  • Designing, developing, testing, and orchestrating data transformations and datamarts;
  • Participating in data integration processes.

Our technology stack:

  • Kafka;
  • ClickHouse;
  • Python;
  • k8s.

Requirements

  • 4-5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer (Python);
  • Experience in column store DBs;
  • Experience with Docker;
  • Experience with Kafka;
  • Advanced SQL;
  • Understanding how web applications work.
  • Product thinking;
  • Soft skills: solution-oriented, communication, critical thinking.
  • Fluency in Russian and English language.

Qualification that can be a plus:

  • Experience with ClickHouse;
  • Experience with k8s;
  • Working with ML teams.
