We are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will perform various HR and Payroll related tasks including but not limited to:

  • Responsible for the maintenance, preparation and timely execution of payroll including calculations of overtimes and other payments;
  • Handle the correct calculation, submission and payment of all payroll related taxes;
  • Perform start of the year payroll processes like recalculations of net salaries, completion and storage of IR59 forms;
  • Stay informed on labour laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements;
  • Ensure that all data in the payroll system is correct and complete;
  • Perform year-end payroll processes, like reconciliations, issuance of TD63s, and TD7 forms;
  • Lead initiatives to implement automation, innovation, and continuous improvements for payroll processing and reporting;
  • Collaborate in internal and external payroll audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance;
  • Assist employees with payroll questions, resolve issues and offer clear, accurate information;
  • Prepare monthly and ad hoc payroll reports;
  • Ad-hoc duties.

Requirements

  • Experience in payroll preparation;
  • Excellent in interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Ability to work in a diverse environment;
  • Eagerness in taking on tasks and assuming responsibilities;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion;
  • A good team member.

Qualification that can be a plus:

  • Knowing how to perform Net to gross calculations Excellent command of Greek;
  • Previous experience with the 3DePocket payroll software.
