To solve complex and interesting architectural challenges, we are looking for an experienced frontend developer to join the product team of a highload (200k+ RPS) project with a modern and evolving technology stack.


Now we are looking for a Frontend Developer to join our VR team.

Responsibilities

  • Developing browser VR application features;
  • Profiling and optimizing the app;
  • Debugging the app using real VR devices;
  • Writing unit tests;
  • Communicating w/ other teams.

Important/challenging tasks:

  • Open source involvement in react-xr and react-three-fiber ecosystem;
  • Making the app work across different VR devices;
  • Development of non-DOM UI;
  • Optimizing the rendering workflows;
  • Building prototypes and iterating on ideas.

Requirements

  • Fluency in the latest standard of Javascript: ES2020+ and fundamentals (vanila JS, event loop), proficiency in TypeScript;
  • Experience in building React (-like) SPA’s;
  • Experience w/ WebGL libraries: three.js/babylon/pixi.js/etc. (any of these);
  • Experience w/ unit testing.

Qualification that can be a plus:

  • 3D graphics experience;
  • WebXR experience;
  • WebGL experience;
  • Performance profiling;
  • Canvas-based UI.

Recruitment process

  1. HR Interview (40 mins);
  2. Technical interview (1 hour);
  3. Live-coding (1,5 hours) or Test Assigment;
  4. Final interview (45 mins).
